You Can Ice Skate on a Denver Rooftop This Winter Season

Nov 8, 2023, 5:54 PM

It’s not hard to find a place to ice skate in Colorado during the winter months, but there’s a cool new option in Denver this year!

Greenwood Village’s Pindustry bowling alley and entertainment center will be opening rooftop ice skating on their SkyDeck area. The attraction is set to be matched with themed food and drinks, including options like tomato soup shooters with grilled cheese fingers, sliders, and s’mores, as well as a peppermint White Russian and a toasted marshmallow martini.

“Pindustry on Ice” will open on November 24 with a rink spanning 2,400 square feet.

It’ll cost you $15 per hour of skating and $5 for skate rentals. While the experience is meant to emulate the feeling of skating on real ice, a synthetic ice consisting of high-density polymer specifically designed for ‘ice skating’ will be used to cover the surface.

Pindustry on Ice will be open seven days a week through March 2024 from 4 p.m. to close on weekdays and 11 a.m. to close on Saturday and Sunday. The attraction will be closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas.
