Wyatt Flores is playing a free show in Denver on Aug. 5 — no tickets needed

Jul 27, 2026, 5:26 PM

A guy that could definitely sell tickets for $50 a pop or more is coming to Denver to play a show for FREE!

Wyatt Flores — the Oklahoma-bred singer-songwriter who has opened for George Strait and Cody Johnson and just played Bonnaroo and Stagecoach — is doing a free acoustic trio set at a western dancehall in Denver on Aug. 5. No cover. Show at 8. First come, first served. And when a venue has limited capacity and an artist this hot, “first come, first served” means “show up early or spend the evening looking at other people’s Instagram stories from outside.”

The show at Broken Bow Western Dancehall is one of just four intimate pop-up dates Flores announced to celebrate the release of his sophomore album, “Scared of Heights,” which drops July 31. The other three stops are Tulsa (Guthrie Green, July 31, with special guest Lance Roark), Nashville (Skinny Dennis, Aug. 2) and Chicago (Carol’s Pub, Aug. 6). Denver is the only one of the four that doesn’t require a lottery for entry — you just show up.

“Scared of Heights” is a 13-track project and Flores’s first since signing with Island Records/MCA. He’s already released four tracks from the record — “Scared of Heights,” “Half The Man,” “Drive All Night” and “Runnin’ On E” — and a full “Drive All Night Tour” is scheduled for the fall.

Flores will also hold album signings in each of the four pop-up cities, with an additional signing stop in Oklahoma City. Full details and registration info are available at link.fans/wyattflores-schedule.

Broken Bow Western Dancehall has been quietly becoming one of Denver’s best small-venue country music spots, and hosting a free Wyatt Flores set during album release week is the kind of booking that puts a room on the map.
