Its a match up many in Colorado look forward to every year as CU takes on CSU in the Rocky Mountain Showdown, but where will the Rocky Mountain Showdown be held this year?

With the release of the Colorado State Rams schedule, we now know that Coach Prime and his CU Buffalos will be heading up north to Fort Collins for the match up!

The game is scheduled for September 14th and will be the first time since 1996 that Fort Collins will be the home of the rivals game.  It will also mark the first time in their history that they will host seven home games.

In last years match up CSU ended up losing 43-35 to the Buffalo’s and ended the season 5-7.

As noted on CSU’s website, “the dates are subject to change from Saturday to Friday pending television assignments” and the kick off times for the games will be announced once those assignments are finalized.
