If you’ve driven from Denver to Colorado Springs, you’ve likely seen what looks like a big waterpark right off of I-25 to the west in the little town of Larkspur, right? So, what is it?

Jellystone in Larkspur is a family-friendly RV park and campground that offers a wide range of outdoor activities and amenities. Located just a short drive from Denver, Jellystone is the perfect destination for families who want to escape the city and enjoy some time in nature.

One of the main draws of Jellystone is its location. Nestled in the heart of the Rocky Mountains, the campground offers stunning views of the surrounding peaks and valleys. It’s also close to a number of popular attractions, including Pikes Peak, Garden of the Gods and the Royal Gorge.

In terms of amenities, Jellystone has something for everyone. The campground features spacious RV sites and tent camping areas, as well as a variety of cabins and cottages for those who prefer a more rustic experience. There’s also a heated swimming pool, a hot tub, a playground and a mini-golf course on site.

That waterpark you see is Yogi Bear’s Water Zone. This water park features a number of water slides, fountains and other aquatic attractions that are sure to keep kids (and adults!) entertained for hours.

In addition to its amenities, Jellystone also offers a number of fun activities and events throughout the year. These include movie nights, pancake breakfasts, scavenger hunts and live music performances.

Overall, Jellystone is a great choice for families who want to enjoy the beauty of the Rocky Mountains while still having access to all the comforts of home. With its scenic location, top-notch amenities and fun activities, it’s no wonder that Jellystone is such a popular destination for families in the Denver area.
