I’m not sure how much you know about tractor pull events, but I think it’s safe to say the crowds that show up aren’t the electric vehicle type. So, what happens when you bring an EV to compete?
That experiment was conducted in Colorado recently. At a National Sled Pullers Association event in Sterling, Colorado, a couple of YouTubers put a Tesla Cybertruck against a 2022 Ram HD Cummins Diesel.
Participating vehicles are separated into classes at the event based on engine displacement, type of fuel, 2WD or 4WD and specialty modification. The Cybertruck didn’t fit into any of the classes, so it ran as an exhibition and didn’t actually compete.
Scroll to the 17:10 mark in the video to see how the Cybertruck did, and how the crowd embraced it.
