Walmart delivery drones are Colorado bound

The days of a delivery driver dropping off your Walmart order may be a thing of the past as Walmart Drone Delivery service will soon be coming to Denver.
Walmart along with Wing announced that their delivery service will be making its way to both Denver and Seattle in 2027.
The service is already servicing over 3 million customers in cities such as Dallas, Atlanta and Houston.
Senior Vice President of eCommerce Transformation for Walmart Greg Cathey says, “Expanding drone delivery to Seattle and Denver is about giving more customers a practical option when they need something quickly” and credits their partnership with Wing in making that happen.
Their drones can go as fast as 60 mph and carry up to five pounds and will be able to thousands of different items to customers in as short as 30 minutes. Once the service is available, it will be shown in the Walmart app and at Walmart.com.
