Waitlist for Casa Bonita still up to 600,000 people

Mar 11, 2024, 12:36 PM

If you signed up for Casa Bonita’s email club to join their wait list and thought to yourself it’s taking a long time, well you are not alone as the wait list could have almost 600,000 people still waiting.

According to a story on Denver7, one of Casa Bonita’s culinary partners, Dana Rodriguez, said there are between 400,000-600,000 people still on the wait list as the restaurant approaches being open an entire year.

In a post shared on KYGO’s Facebook page after the restaurant had been open 6 months listeners shared thoughts like Thea who said “I’m Over it.  With the menu change, the forever waitlist and no endless sopapillas, its not worth it.”  Kim N said “Signed up as well and still no response.  Im tired of waiting.  Can someone just bring me a plate” and Brianne said “Don’t even want to go anymore.”

Some people shared they were in luck such as Janet who said she was going the following Friday with her besties.  Colleen said “I signed up, and 8 months later received the invite. We had a great time.” And Carol who said “I got an invite, but won’t go, not until it opens for everyone!!!”

For those who do finally get an invitation to their menu, they will be welcomed with a different process than Casa Bonita had back in the day, with customers needing to purchase a ticket ($19.99 for kids and $29.99 for adults for weekday lunches and $24.99 for kids and $39.99 for weekends and dinner) which will get you an entre, chips & salsa, a soft drink and sopaipillas.
