Von Miller Pushes for Return to Broncos

Apr 29, 2026, 11:10 AM

It’s been almost five years since Von Miller suited up for the Denver Broncos. In 2021, the Broncos were entering a full rebuild and needed to get as many draft picks as possible and that meant trading the Broncos’ best player at the time. Broncos GM, George Paton traded Miller to the Los Angeles Rams where he won another Super Bowl.

Over the next three seasons, Miller played for the Buffalo Bills where he failed to reach another Super Bowl. Last season, Miller turned down a contract offer from the Seattle Seahawks to play for the Washington Commanders.

Ever since Miller was traded away from the Broncos, he’s made it known the he will always be a Bronco and he is always cheering for them. In every offseason, Miller has explained that he would love to come back and sign with the Broncos. As things currently sit, Miller is still a free agent and looking for his next NFL job.

On April 27, Miller joined N3on, who is a Youtube streamer, and was asked what’s his ideal landing spot right now.

“I would love to go back to the Denver Broncos. I’d love to go back to the Bills too,” Miller said. “I’d love to go back to the Commanders.”

During his time with the Broncos, Miller helped the Broncos win Super Bowl 50 and was named the Super Bowl MVP after his legendary performance against the Carolina Panthers.

While playing for the Broncos, Miller averaged 11.5 sacks per season before having a total of 14 sacks in his three years in Buffalo.

Last season in Washington, Miller had a solid year by sacking the quarterback nine times and totaled 26 tackles.

Miller, who turned 37-years-old in March, likely won’t be signing with the Broncos this season because of how deep they are at the pass rusher position with Nik Bonitto and Jonathon Cooper.

At some point in the future, Miller will likely sign a one-day contract to retire as a Bronco. After that, Miller will likely go into the Broncos’ Ring of Fame as well as the Pro Football Hall of Fame as one of the best pass rushers of all-time.
