Vending machines for ammunition are coming to Colorado

Jul 11, 2024, 4:43 PM | Updated: Jul 12, 2024, 11:08 pm

Things you can buy in vending machines… A Snicker bar, some Pringles, a can of Coke, oh and ammo for your gun!

The ammunition company American Rounds recently debuted new ammo vending machines in three states. The vending machines are in grocery stores.

They announced that Colorado is the next state where they will install one of their vending machines.

The machine works by requiring a customer to scan their driver’s license to validate that they are age 21 or older. The scan also checks that it is a valid license. That is followed by a facial recognition scan to verify “you are who you are saying you are as a consumer.”

There’s no word just yet on which Colorado grocery store will get the vending machine, or if there are plans for more machines in our state.
