Upon further review, all Joann craft stores in Colorado will close for good

Just a couple of weeks ago we got news that Joann fabric and craft stores would be closing six locations in Colorado, but that still left at least five stores open in our state… Until now!

Earlier this month Joann received court approval to close more than half of its remaining stores, including those six locations in Colorado.

But now, just a couple weeks later, the plan is for all of its roughly 800 locations to close and for the struggling retailer to shutter after more than 80 years in business.

The list of Joann store closures includes 14 Colorado locations:

  • Aurora – 13861 E. Exposition Ave.
  • Aurora – 7360 S. Gartrell Rd.
  • Boulder – 2440 Arapahoe Ave.
  • Centennial – 9090 E. Phillips Pl.
  • Colorado Springs – 3795 Bloomington St.
  • Denver – 2580 S. Colorado Blvd.
  • Fort Collins – 2701 S. College Ave. Unit 160
  • Grand Junction – 2424 Highway 6
  • Lakewood – 10750 W. Colfax Ave. Unit 100
  • Littleton – 8601 W. Cross Dr.
  • Loveland – 1601 Fall River Dr.
  • Northglenn – 341 W. 104th Ave. Unit 3
  • Pueblo – 3449 Dillon Dr.
  • Westminster – 9250 Sheridan Blvd. Unit 200

Going-out-of-business sales were already underway at the stores approved in the initial round of closures, but there’s no official word on when they will close. However, it seems to be happening pretty quickly as Joann is no longer accepting returns and gift cards are currently only being accepted through Friday, Feb. 28.
