Canadian smoke may keep miller moths in CO longer

Nobody likes smoke….nobody likes moths…. but the lingering smoke may actually be slowing the miller moths exit from Colorado down!  The thicker smoke particles may weigh down their wings and also may confuse them with their migration patterns.  But remember, don’t kill our moth pals even if they stick around, they are important pollinators!

Hanging Lake closed due to large runoff

We’ve had quite a bit of rain over the last few weeks and that is causing a lot of run-off at Hanging Lake which is causing them to close the trail through June 3rd. Anyone who had reservations before will be contacted for a refund.

Brandon McManus has been released by the Broncos!

Some breaking news in Broncos country as veteran kicker Brandon McManus announced on his Twitter that the Denver Broncos have released him.  The Broncos have had a Summer of rebuilding after one of their worst seasons on record and with the move they will save between $2.5 million and $3.75 million in salary cap space.
