Tracy Lawrence found out who his friends are following unexpected loss | Music City Minute

Tracy Lawrence was gearing up to celebrate the 20th anniversary of his Mission: Possible Turkey Fry and Concert. However, he and his team were left devastated when one of the refrigerated trucks holding 650 frozen turkeys broke down, causing them to spoil. Needless to say, it was a huge setback and almost no time to recover. Thankfully, all was not lost and a miracle was in the works. Lawrence sent out an “SOS” on social media and the response was swift and bountiful. Clint Black, Rodney Adkins, Rhett Akins and Meghan Patrick provided dozens of replacements for the festered fowl, with Tucker Wetmore personally contributing 100 new birds. The outpouring of support didn’t stop there. Lawrence’s accompanying benefit concert raised $250,000 for the Nashville Rescue Mission. All in all, the 20th annual Thanksgiving event was a smashing success!
