Trace Adkins declares this tour will be his last, but he does visit Colorado one more time in 2026

A lot of rock stars have duped us over the years, saying they are going on a farewell tour only to pop back up a year or two later. That likely won’t be the case for Trace Adkins who says, “I’m gonna give ‘em another year. I do not have another 30 in me. I do not. I’m gonna give ‘em this year. I’m gonna tour hard this year. But then I can’t promise anything after that.”
Thank goodness we’ll get him back in Colorado for at least one more show, though!
With 40 hit singles, Adkins has been a staple of country music for three decades, and he will be back in Colorado as the headliner for the 2026 Douglas County Fair on Friday, July 24.
Tickets for the Castle Rock concert are on sale now on the fair’s website.
Tickets to the other Douglas County Fair events, including the rodeos, are also on sale. This year’s Douglas County Fair runs July 24-August 2, 2026.
