Tim McGraw shares loss and singer dies from ALS complications | Music City Minute

Tim McGraw has shared a devastation familial loss. McGraw took to social media to remember his Uncle Henry “Hank” Thomas McGraw. Turns out Uncle Hank, like his younger brother, Tug,  played professional baseball for a number of years. The “Live Like You Were Dying” star would go on to call his uncle the patriarch of the family and, “He had a way of lighting up any room he walked into without trying. He was a good friend to all who knew him and loved him with an open heart.”

Nashville is mourning the loss of another legend, Oak Ridge Boys singer, Joe Bonsall. He passed away on July 9 from complications of ALS. Bonsall and Oak Ridge Boys have been a staple in country music for five decades and were inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2015.
