Thousands of golden retrievers will gather in Golden this weekend

International Golden Retriever Day is on February 7, and we have a pretty cool town in Colorado called Golden, so what a perfect opportunity to celebrate, right?

“Goldens in Golden” is one of the largest gatherings of golden retrievers in the world, as thousands of goldens and their humans gather downtown and along Washington Avenue beneath the iconic Golden arch.

In the event’s seventh year, dogs from 44 states are excepted to experience two Vendor Villages, entertainment, contests, food and drinks.
