Thomas Rhett Following Tim Tebow’s Lead

Mar 5, 2020, 12:02 PM

Thomas Rhett and his wife, Lauren, both use their platforms to support causes and organizations that are important to them, for example, 147 Million Orphans, a faith-based organization which provides food and supplies to the children of Uganda, and where the couple met their now-oldest daughter, Willa Gray.

Thomas tells us that the best part of being a successful entertainer is getting to use his celebrity for good and important causes, much like one of his role models.

“I do think I was out here to entertain people and allow people to have a good time on a Friday or Saturday night, but I think the most important reason that I was put here is to use what I have been given for good,” he says. Rhett continues to say, ” Growing up, Tim Tebow was always such an inspiration to me because being in any sort of professional celebrity atmosphere it’s really hard to maintain level-headedness, and so someone like him who always turned anything good into something great, I’ve just always wanted to try to do that.”

Thomas is nominated for five awards at next month’s ACM Awards, including Entertainer of the Year.

He’s inside the Top 15 and climbing with his latest single, “Beer Can’t Fix” with Jon Pardi.
