This Is Girl Power!

Have you ever been just sitting around and you hear a song that just blows you away? That totally happened to me today!
When it comes to cover songs, I am a bit of a traditionalist. Which at times has made me seem like a snob. I’m totally not. I just appreciate artists who record covers that are unique but also maintain the integrity of the original song. That being said, I am now obsessed with one of Miranda Lambert’s latest projects!
Lambert put together an epic collaboration of women to cover “Fooled Around and Fell In Love” by Elvin Bishop. The song features Maren Morris, Elle King, Tenille Townes, Ashley McBryde and Caylee Hammack. All of these women’s voices blend beautifully together while maintaining each of their unique styles. I am honestly in awe of their stunning rendition.
Miranda Lambert is currently on the road with her Roadside Bars & Pink Guitars tour. Her new album “Wildcard” drops November 1, 2019.
