There’s a Halloween Parade in Denver This Weekend

Oct 18, 2023, 5:05 PM

When you think about holiday parades usually it’s the 4th of July, Christmas, and maybe the Thanksgiving parade on TV, but not Halloween…

However, there is a Halloween parade in Denver, and it happens this weekend!

The Broadway Halloween Parade is back for a 6th year. The Halloween parade offers spooky bands, floats and groups in fun, community-friendly fashion. Attendees are encouraged to wear their best Halloween costumes because everyone will get to march in the street after the parade.

The parade travels down Broadway from 5th Avenue to Alameda Avenue through Denver’s South Broadway area.

Starting at 6 pm this Saturday (Oct. 21st), the parade runs along Broadway for approximately .9 miles from 5th to Alameda. Viewing areas are available along the entire route on both the East and West sides of Broadway.

Here’s a map for reference if you plan to attend…
