5K dedicated to donuts takes place in Denver on Sunday

Apr 2, 2025, 4:00 PM | Updated: 4:15 pm

If there was anything that could get me off my couch and running a 5K, it would be donuts. This weekend, there is a race just like that for people like me in Denver!

The annual Donut Dash 5K is Denver’s race that ends with donuts. The event will be held Sunday at Denver’s Washington Park.

All finishers get a medal, race logo shirt and can indulge in post-race food and donuts.

The race will be staged from the Mount Vernon Garden at Washington Park. The largest parking lot in the area is at South High School.
