The KYGO Pet of the Week: Abbey

Hi Friends! My name is Abbey and I am an Australian Shepherd mix coming in around 1 year old. I made way to MaxFund because my owners were no longer able to care for me.

I am a very sweet girl but have some initial shyness. I can be scared meeting new people but I need to warm up. I truly yearn for a home where I can share all the love in me with you! Since I’ve been at the shelter I have worked with my pawesome staff to build up some confidence. I am still working on this but I have gotten much better. Since I can be really shy, most dogs intimidate me so I haven’t socialized much with other doggos. Any potential fur friends will need to come meet me.

I am an excellent walker (all my volunteers say so) and I will be that right by your side, loyal, well-mannered. Once I get comfortable I will bond with you quickly. I also know my basic commands and I am even potty trained! I would prefer a home with older kiddos that can respect my boundaries as I work to get to know them.
