Country dominates lineup of this weekend’s JAS Labor Day Experience in Aspen, features Tim McGraw, Shaboozey and more

If you’re still trying to figure out your Labor Day weekend plans, may we suggest pointing your car toward the mountains? The JAS Labor Day Experience kicks off this Friday, Sept. 4, at Snowmass Town Park, and the three-day festival has a lineup that country fans should be paying very close attention to.
Tim McGraw headlines Saturday night at 7:30 p.m. The man has sold more than 104 million records and racked up 49 No. 1 singles. If you’ve never seen him live in a mountain setting, this is the one. Opening for McGraw on Saturday is Shaboozey at 5 p.m. and rising country newcomer Avery Anna at 3 p.m. Then on Sunday, The Red Clay Strays take the headline spot at 7 p.m. with Bonnie Raitt at 5 p.m. and blues powerhouse Christone “Kingfish” Ingram rounding out the day.
The festival also features Benson Boone headlining Friday night and Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue opening the weekend, plus JAS After Dark late-night shows at the Paul JAS Center in downtown Aspen featuring Cimafunk (Friday), Jan Blomqvist (Saturday) and Kingfish again on Sunday.
From Denver, Aspen is about a four-hour drive through some of the most beautiful scenery in Colorado, and honestly, there are worse ways to spend a long weekend than soaking in mountain air and watching Tim McGraw, The Red Clay Strays and Shaboozey play against the Elk Mountains.
