The Grand Ole Opry is ringing its 100th birthday! Country music is pulling out all the stops for the huge celebration. Blake Shelton has been lined up to host the gala event. Artists will perform from the Grand Ole Opry house, as well as the Ryman Auditorium – aka ‘The Mother Church of Country Music’ – which was home to the Opry from 1943 to 1974. Opry members representing multiple decades will be on hand including Ashley McBryde, Brad Paisley, Carly Pearce, Carrie Underwood, Clint Black, Vince Gill, Trisha Yearwood, Lainey Wilson, Luke Combs and the legend, Randy Travis! Organizers are calling this “a once in a lifetime opportunity connecting millions of country music fans to the magic of the Opry.” “Opry 100: A Live Celebration” will simulcast on NBC and Peacock tonight, March 19.
