The Denver Zoo is Giving You a Chance to Hang Out with Their Sloths Up-Close

Nov 29, 2022, 5:24 PM

Unless you’re a zookeeper or you live in some sort of exotic country, you probably have never had the chance to hangout with a sloth. However, the Denver Zoo is giving you the chance now!

The zoo’s ‘Up-Close Look: Sloth’ experience includes exclusive interactions with zoo experts and the ability to see the unique Linnaeus’s two-toed sloth species “behind-the-scenes.” Sadly, you won’t get to have direct contact with the animal, this experience is about as close as it gets.

You will get to meet a two-toed sloth named ‘Wookie’ and you’ll be able to see how animal staff cares for the animal, also getting up-close seats to a training session.

The experience lasts roughly 30 minutes and costs $200 for up to six participants, which doesn’t include zoo admission.

The zoo says these types of experiences book up quick, so if you or someone you know is a sloth-lover, get your passes here.
