The University of Denver Pioneers Hockey team has been so dominate in recent history that it’s almost a given that they’re in the NCAA Hockey Tournament again.
The Pioneers have won two of the last three National Championships, and their quest for their 11th overall title begins on Friday.
DU’s regional semifinal matchup against the Providence College Friars will be played at 3 p.m. MNT at SNHU Arena in Manchester, New Hampshire.
The game will be broadcast on ESPN+, and the local radio call can be heard on Denver Sports 104.3 The Fan HD3.
Unlike college basketball, only 16 teams make the hockey tournament, so DU’s road to another national title will take four wins.
