The Russell Wilson era in Denver is officially, unofficially over…

The Denver Broncos cannot make it official until the league year starts on March, 13th, but they have informed the quarterback and his team, that when that time comes, he will be released.

In an announcement on social media today, the team said, “We spoke to Russell Wilson today to inform him of his release after the start of the league year. On behalf of the Broncos, we thank Russell for his contributions and dedication to our team and community while wishing him the best as his career continues.”
