Broncos announce when they’ll wear their popular throwback uniforms this season

What could possibly make the Monday after one of the most improbable wins in the history of Denver Broncos better? How about finally finding out when the team will wear their throwback uniforms that everyone seems to agree are the best the team has…
Through seven weeks, the Broncos had yet to break out these fan-favorites or even announce when they’d wear them, but the team announced on Monday that we’ll get to see the uniforms, which pay tribute to the 1977 squad, on three occasions throughout the rest of the season.
The uniforms will be on display this coming week when the Cowboys come to town, in week 10 when the Raiders play here on a Thursday night and to end the season in week 18 when the Chargers take the field in Denver. All three will be home games, as the team doesn’t yet have a white “away” variation of the uniform that they can wear on the road.
