Someday all this drama between the Denver Broncos and Russell Wilson will make for a great Netflix documentary. The latest scene in the movie… Russ may stay in Denver after all!
At a press conferences held on Tuesday by head coach Sean Payton and general manager George Paton, Russ’ future in Denver was a major theme.
“The door remains open with Russ. I’ve had good conversations with Russ. Sean’s had good conversations. The door is open,” Paton said. “We’ll visit with the coaching staff, scouting staff. We’ll visit with Russ and his people and we’ll go from there.”
They also insisted that the process would not be a long drawn out one, and they’d have a decision made that’s best for the Broncos in the near future.
