When you’re consistently in last place in your division, and your fanbase is getting fed up with losing, you have to do something creative to get people in the ballpark. A couple of years ago the Colorado Rockies came up with something pretty innovative for pro sports.
Think a Netflix subscription, but for baseball tickets. You pay one price and get a ticket to every home game for a month.
The Colorado Rockies call it the Ballpark Pass, and it gives you access to every home game (except for opening day) for just $199.
They also have a Monthly Ballpark Pass. April, May, July, August and September will be $39.99 per month and June will be $49.99 per month.
The team says you get a guaranteed Standing Room Only ticket to every regular season game (excluding opening day) with the pass.
