The actual Premier League Trophy is coming to Denver, because we’re a soccer city now

Five years ago, if you told someone the Premier League trophy was making a stop in Denver, they’d have asked you what the heck that even was. Now? This city can’t get enough soccer, and the silverware is following.
The Premier League trophy is visiting Denver this Friday as part of the league’s “Coast to Coast” celebration, a nationwide event connecting all 20 Premier League clubs with supporters across the United States to kick off the 2026-27 season. Denver’s stop is an official Arsenal Watch Party at McGregor Square, the same venue that hosted massive World Cup watch parties on its 66-foot LED screen this summer.
This isn’t happening in a vacuum. Denver has been quietly, and then not so quietly, becoming one of America’s most passionate soccer cities. The 2026 FIFA World Cup turned downtown Denver into a nonstop party this summer, with the Colorado Rapids and Downtown Denver Partnership creating a massive official watch party experience at Skyline Park that drew thousands of fans for U.S. men’s national team games. The new Denver Summit FC sold out its 12,000-seat debut at Centennial Stadium. And the Rapids have been smashing MLS attendance records at their own home matches.
Now add a Premier League trophy tour to the mix, and it’s clear: Denver isn’t just dabbling in soccer anymore. The city is all in. The Broncos, Nuggets and Avalanche will always own this town. But soccer has officially pulled up a chair at the table.
