Here are some non-profits in Colorado that could use your help during the COVID-19 crisis:

A Precious Child
“A Precious Child is a Colorado nonprofit that empowers children and families in need. Last year alone, they provided opportunities and resources valued at $15 million to more than 57,000 underprivileged children and 7,000 adult caregivers. As a designated essential organization, their team is rising up to an unparalleled challenge during the coronavirus pandemic. They are on the frontlines, providing emergency essentials, such as hygiene items, cleaning supplies, diapers and wipes, clothing and other basic needs. These resources are vital to help limit the spread of COVID-19 and provide much needed relief to Colorado’s most vulnerable population. Help A Precious Child meet their Match 4 Mission Campaign goal! Donate or start a virtual drive to further your impact and support families in need.

Tennyson Center for Children
Tennyson Center for Children has served Colorado’s most neglected, abused, and traumatized children since 1904. We provide a safe, stable home for kids 5-18 who are facing critical circumstances and need residential care; an accredited, therapeutic K-12 school with a 3:1 student-to-staff ratio on our campus; and in-home and community services in 25 counties across the state to provide preventative services and therapy to strengthen families with children aged 0 to adulthood. During COVID-19, children are more anxious, alone, and in need than ever. With school closures at stay-at-home isolation, many children are unsafe and lacking basic resources. Additionally, our 32+ residents on campus don’t have a safe place to call home outside of TCC, and ours staff are with them in person 24 hours per day providing therapy, basic needs care, support, and education 7 days per week.
