Starting next week, everyone in Colorado gets $450 for buying an e-bike

Mar 29, 2024, 4:18 PM | Updated: 9:27 pm

E-bikes have been all the rage in Colorado for a few years now, but starting next week Coloradans can cash in after buying one!

Every single person living in Colorado qualifies for the tax credit. The only requirements are you have to live in Colorado, go to a participating retailer and get a qualified e-bike.

The tax credit is $450 toward the purchase of a new e-bike and you get that discount when you buy the bike. You can only get this tax credit starting on Monday, April 1, and there are no income requirements or restrictions.

It does not count toward any previous purchases and you can only get it once per year.

Here’s a list of participating retailers online.
