Spirit Airlines is Leaving Denver International Airport For Good Tomorrow

Jan 8, 2024, 3:52 PM

I don’t know that I’ve ever met someone who said that Spirit Airlines was their airline of choice, but often times travels found themselves with a good deal, the perfect time for their flight, or no other option, and ended up on a Spirit flight out of Denver International Airport, but that won’t be happening again…

Spirit’s last flights will depart from DIA on Tuesday (Jan. 9th), two months after the airline announced it was discontinuing service to Denver.

Two Spirit flights are scheduled to leave from DIA on Tuesday morning, the last flight takes off at 11:47 a.m., according to DIA’s website.

A spokesperson for DIA said Spirit operates out of one gate on Concourse C. The gate will revert back to the city when Spirit discontinues service.
