SMC: Women Supporting Women – Country Style

Dec 5, 2023, 2:24 PM

We love to see women supporting women – especially in a highly competitive area like country music.

Carrie Underwood stopped by Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas to take in a show recently. Who’s show? Miranda Lambert’s, Velvet Rodeo of course! The two mega stars had a chance to catch up before the concert. Underwood posted a picture from Lambert’s dressing room with the caption: “Just a couple country girls hanging out in Vegas.”

Miss Carrie eventually made her way inside the Bakkt Theater, took her seat and watched Miss Miranda light up the stage. The Out Of That Truck singer shared some gorgeous shots of Miranda’s performance with captions like: “THE Miranda Lambert, people” and “I’m not crying, you’re crying.”

It is a really good thing Underwood took the opportunity to see Lambert’s show because it is ending soon. Yep, Miranda confirmed the Velvet Rodeo residency will wrap next year.  In fact, the Bluebird singer only has a few more dates on the residency calendar – with the final date scheduled for April 6.

As for Carrie Underwood, she is rockin’ through her own Las Vegas residency. Underwood’s Reflection at Resorts World Theater is scheduled to run through Dec. 16. The residency will pick up again in 2024 with dates in March, May, June and August.
