Six Colorado Joann fabric stores are closing for good – Here’s where they are

Feb 12, 2025, 4:43 PM | Updated: Feb 19, 2025, 2:49 pm

It’s not a good day for seamstresses and crafty folks around Colorado as one of the most popular stores for that stuff announced a bunch of closures.

After filing for bankruptcy for the second time in less than a year, Joann plans to close 500 of its roughly 850 stores nationwide, including six in Colorado.

Here are the stores closing in Colorado:

  • Aurora – 13861 E. Exposition Ave.
  • Aurora – 7360 S. Gartrell Rd.
  • Boulder – 2440 Arapahoe Ave.
  • Centennial – 9090 E. Phillips Pl.
  • Loveland – 1601 Fall River Dr.
  • Pueblo – 3449 Dillon Dr.

When exactly those closures will take place and how many employees will be impacted has yet to be seen.

That leaves at least five stores along the Front Range in open. Find the full list of locations here.
