‘Saved by the Bell’ Star Mario Lopez is coming to Denver – Here’s how to meet him

If you grew up in the 90’s like me, it was nearly impossible to avoid “Saved by the Bell.” I didn’t even love the show, but I can name every character and even some of the popular moments from it. Therefore I, and you also, probably know who Mario Lopez, or A.C. Slater from “Saved by the Ball” is, right?

Well, he’s coming to Denver this summer and you can be there to meet him.

Fan Expo Denver, which has expanded to four days this year, will be held Thursday, July 4, through Sunday, July 7, at the Colorado Convention Center in downtown Denver.

Lopez will be joined by “My Name is Earl” stars Jason Lee and Ethan Suplee. “Gotham” star Ben McKenzie, Michelle Hurd from “Star Trek: Picard,” and Shannen Doherty, Rose McGowan and Holly Marie Combs of the long-running television series “Charmed” at Fan Expo.

This is just the first batch of stars who will join hundreds of figures of film, television, animation art and literature who are scheduled to appear at the pop culture convention.

The festival also has hundreds of retailers in a shopping area of more than 300,000 square feet with shirts, games, toys, memorabilia, comic books and artwork. Fans will be able to meet, get autographs and take photos with celebrities, animation voice actors, comic creators, authors and cosplayers.

Single-day tickets and three-day passes are available at FanExpoHQ.com.
