Russell Wilson’s wife, Ciara, is coming back to Denver for a concert – Will it be awkward?

Missy Elliott announced Monday her debut headline tour will launch July 4 and will visit 24 cities including Denver.

The awkward part? The new tour will also feature Ciara, Russell Wilson’s wife.

I am assuming Ciara will be a pro, do her set, pretend like it’s any other city, and move on with her life. But you know it’ll be on her mind and everyone else’s who’s at the show… Her husband just finished two years playing in Denver in what’ll likely go down as the worst trade in the history of football. He made hundreds of millions of dollars, and on the field didn’t do a whole lot. I personally think it would be a great icebreaker to just address it, but it likely won’t happen.

I will say that both Russ and Ciara were great to have in the Denver community for the two years they were here. They gave millions of dollars to numerous causes, spent time at local children’s hospitals, and were generally good Denverite’s.
