In celebration of their 10th anniversary, Rolling Stone Country has released a list of the top 200 country songs of all time. From contemporary to legendary, the list has a wide range of artists and songs. Here are the top ten greatest country songs of all time, according to Rolling Stone. We start off with the King of Country, George Strait and “Amarillo by Morning.” Next is “Mama Tried” from Merle Haggard, “Stand By Your Man” from Tammy Wynette, “Standing on the Corner (Blue Yodel No. 9)” by Jimmie Rodgers and “You Don’t Know Me” by Ray Charles. Rounding out the top five is George Jones, “He Stopped Loving Her Today,” “I’m So Lonesome I Could Cry,” Hank {Williams} Sr., “Crazy,” Patsy Cline and “I Walk The Line,” Johnny Cash coming in at number two. Finally, clinching the top spot at number one is “Jolene” by Dolly Parton!
