For generations, New York City and Times Square have been the location to ring in the New Year. However, for folks looking for a different vibe, Music City has become a popular New Year’s Eve hub. Once again, “Nashville’s Big Bash Live” will attract tens of thousands of revelers to Bicentennial Capitol State Park for high-voltage performances from Bailey Zimmerman, Brooks & Dunn, Dierks Bentley, Jason Aldean, Keith Urban, Lainey Wilson, Megan Moroney, Rascal Flatts, Riley Green and Zach Top, culminating in the midnight countdown crescendo. Additionally, Luke Combs’ Category 10, located a stone’s throw from the Honky-Tonk Highway, will host a free official in-person watch party that includes special performances from Dwight Yoakam and Marcus King. Furthermore, merrymakers (like myself) who are planning little to no travel on NYE can tune into the five-hour live event on CBS or stream “Nashville’s Big Bash” on Paramount+ Wednesday, December 31.
