Queen of Country hears wedding bells, while ‘Heartfirst’ singer rolls up the welcome mat | Music City Minute

Congratulations to Reba McEntire and Rex Linn – after five years of dating, they are engaged! Even though their romantic relationship is somewhat recent, McEntire and Linn’s friendship stretches back 30 years. The couple’s real-life chemistry is a pleasure to watch on the small screen as well. Currently, the country music icon and the Hollywood vet are starring alongside each other in a sitcom called “Happy Place.”

Well, we are super excited for that A-list couple who are taking their relationship to the next level. Unfortunately, a younger A-list couple made up of a country music artist and actor will not be moving forward together. Over the weekend, it was surprising to hear that Kelsea Ballerini and Chase Stokes had broken up after three years. Just days before the confirmation, Stokes had posted a carousel of photos celebrating Kelsea’s 32nd birthday. While many fans, including myself, were shocked to hear about the split, realistically, it would be difficult to maintain a serious relationship with entertainers of their caliber unless their relationship goals were exactly the same.
