Professional Bull Riding heading to a Colorado football stadium this summer

Mar 17, 2025, 4:10 PM | Updated: 7:27 pm

The best riders and bulls in the sport of bull riding are in the PBR (Professional Bull Riders). Think of it as the NFL or NBA of the sport, and it’s coming to a 41,000 seat venue in Colorado!

The PBR had been a part of Cheyenne Frontier Days (CFD) over the last few years, and because its proximity, did not have Colorado on their list of stops for their top tier “Unleash the Beast” tour. However, CFD will not be having a PBR event this summer, so Colorado gets it’s chance!

Although the event has not officially been announced, Sean Gleason the CEO of the PBR, posted on social media today saying there will be an event in Fort Collins at the home of the Colorado State Football University Rams football team, Canvas Stadium on July 21st and 22nd.

Gleason said, “PBR fans, while I’m disappointed we aren’t participating in Cheyenne this summer (not our decision), I couldn’t be more thrilled to be bringing an even bigger event, the iconic Last Cowboy Standing, to the campus of Colorado State University, headlined by TWO major country artists. More info to come in the next week. Stay tuned.”

Staying tuned, for sure…
