Poll says the Broncos are no longer the most popular sports team in Colorado – Who is?

Like them or not, we can all agree the Denver Broncos have always been Colorado’s team. They’ve been here the longest, they’ve arguably had the most success, and they happen to play in the most popular sports league in America. However, they’ve not been good in just under a decade now, and maybe fans are fed up…
According to a new survey from the Colorado Polling Institute, the Colorado Avalanche are actually more popular than the Denver Broncos in Colorado.
The results, released on Friday, had 64 percent of people saying they’re fans of the Avalanche. 63 percent said they’re fans of the Broncos, 59 percent for the Rockies, and 57 percent for the Nuggets.
The other respondents said they’re “not really interested” in the teams.
