Water park with world record longest slide now plans to build in Northern Colorado

Aug 22, 2024, 3:35 PM | Updated: 3:39 pm

For the last three-ish years there has been a Facebook page and website promising the Denver-area a new water park featuring the “Guinness World Record breaking longest & darkest water slide in the world (pending approval).” Well, now plans are changing a bit…

According to the “Glacier Beach” Facebook page, the park will now be somewhere in Northern Colorado rather than in Denver, and will open in 2025.

Glacier Beach says they have a former Disney Imagineer, leading their team of visionaries and dreamers to craft an indoor water park unlike any other seen before.

Outside of that, details on the park are still scarce, but the water park encourages people interested to follow along here.
