One of the latest 90-degree days in Denver’s history is expected this week

Fall may have officially started this last weekend, but I hope you haven’t packed away your shorts for the year yet!

According to our friends at 9News, A ridge of high pressure is coming in from our south and west, and that’ll bring us drier and hotter air. Highs will be in the upper 80s in Denver tomorrow (Sept. 25) (record: 91°), while Thursday will likely see 90-degree readings.

A high of 90° in Denver is expected on Thursday, which would not only tie a daily record, it’d also mark our 8th-latest 90-degree day on record for the city (official climate records in Denver date back to the 1870s).
