One Colorado City Among the Worst for Potholes in America

Ask anyone in Colorado if they think their city is the worst for potholes and you’ll probably get a yes from them all. However, there is one city in the Centennial State that stands above the rest when it comes to potholes…

According to data analysis from QuoteWizard.com,  Grand Junction ranked sixth on the list of ‘cities with the worst pothole problems’ in the United States.

“QuoteWizard analyzed search data for pothole-related complaints and repairs for each state over the last year. The search index average is rounded and represents the number of queries in a particular state or location compared to other states,” the report said.

The Colorado Department of Transportation says that potholes in Colorado are often formed by the expansion and contraction of ground water. Which means this time of the year is the worst for them, so be on the lookout.
