OJ Simpson dead at 76

OJ Simpson has passed away at the age of 76.

The former NFL player and actor who gained worldwide notoriety after being accused of murdering his ex-wife, Nicole Simpson, and her friend, Ron Goldman which resulted in the infamous “Bronco” police chase and subsequent trial, passed away from cancer.

While OJ was acquitted for the murder charges, he was found liable for their deaths and ordered to pay millions in civil damages.   He would also end up serving jail time later in life when he was arrested in 2007 when he forcefully tried to recover sports memorabilia he claimed was stolen from him.

The Simpson family say’s the he passed away yesterday surrounded by his children and grandchildren
