Nuggets join Broncos as Denver sports teams set to play on Christmas Day

When the NFL schedule came out, it was official that the Denver Broncos will host the Buffalo Bills on Christmas Day. This will be the rematch of the Bo Nix and the Broncos beating the Bills in the divisional round of the playoffs from last season, only to find out that Nix fractured his ankle at the end of that overtime thriller.
The Broncos will kickoff against the Bills at 2:30 pm MT.
The Broncos are not going to be the only Denver sports team playing on Christmas Day this year.
On August 11, the Denver Nuggets announced that they’ll be traveling to San Francisco to take on the Golden St. Warriors. Tip off for this game will be at 8:30 pm MT.
This means once the Broncos are done, you can go back for dinner or even seconds from lunch and prepare yourself to watch two of the best in the history of the game going at it between Nikola Jokic and Steph Curry.
Jokic has been fantastic on Christmas Day games for the Nuggets. The future hall of famer is averaging 32.5 points per game, 13.2 rebounds per game, and nine assists per game.
Last year on Christmas, Jokic went crazy by having one of the best games not only in his career, but in NBA history. Jokic scored 56 points 16 rebounds, and delivered 15 assists against the Minnesota Timberwolves in overtime 142-138.
During Jokic’s career, he has played in six Christmas Day games and owns a 3-3 record.
With the Broncos playing on Christmas Day, they are 3-2 all-time
This will mark the second consecutive year that the Broncos will play on Christmas. The Broncos are 3-2 all time on Christmas Day, including last year’s victory over the Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium 20-13.
Don’t worry, I checked on the Avalanche and they’re off from December 21 through the 26th before they take on the Ducks on the 27th.
It appears Santa Claus is giving us an early Christmas present and it’s only August!
