No Cicis Pizza buffets are left in Colorado, but they’re looking to return

I can think of few things better than unlimited pizza, pasta and deserts. Yet, somehow, this brilliant concept didn’t pan out in Colorado…but it could be getting a second chance!
The last two Cicis Pizza buffet locations in Colorado, one in Lakewood and one in Aurora, recently closed up shop, but it’s not the end of the buffet concept in our state.
“Cicis is actively working to reopen both restaurants in Colorado under new ownership by the end of the year, reflecting our ongoing commitment to the Denver community,” said Jeff Hetsel, President of Cicis Pizza. “We look forward to welcoming loyal guests back and continuing to serve the best pizza value anywhere for years to come.”
The Aurora location, at 14000 E. Mississippi Ave. near I-225 and Mississippi Avenue, had operated since 2002. The Lakewood restaurant, at 6759 W. Colfax Ave. near Casa Bonita, also originally opened in 2022.
There’s no word on whether or not Cicis will expand in Colorado beyond these two shuttered locations.
