Maybe I’m biased, but Colorado is way too beautiful to not have more movies being filmed here!

Maybe this will change things… A new post-apocalyptic action thriller called Elevation, that was filmed in Colorado, will be in theaters this week.

The film, that was mostly shot in Golden and Boulder, is about monstrous creatures that are targeting humans, but only at elevations below 8,000 feet. After having survived in this terrifying post-apocalyptic world for three years, a trio of characters must head below 8,000 feet in effort to save a young boy, with chaos sure to ensue.

The film stars Anthony Mackie, who plays Sam Wilson, AKA Falcon, in the Avenger movies.
