Ned LeDoux, son of Chris LeDoux, marks his acting debut in a new western movie called, “Buffalo Daze.” Set during the end of the Old West era, a Native American cowboy named Jim Grinder, turns to crime to support fellow tribe members relegated to a reservation. Ned plays Sheriff William O’Connell, the lawman tasked with apprehending the Robin Hood-like outlaw. The 48-year-old goes on to describe the process of making his first film a great experience. Interestingly, that’s not the only new bullet point added to his résumé.
As the son of a rodeo legend, he was fittingly cast in a rodeo docu-drama called “Outriding the Devil.” The project is a deep dive into the life of legendary barrel racing champion Angela Ganter; told through interviews, commentary and reenactment. The Wyoming native was honored to go on film and share memories of his dad, Chris, whose spirit is still felt throughout the rodeo community. Sadly, I couldn’t find any screening information for “Outriding the Devil.” However, the movie “Buffalo Daze” is available now on Prime Video.
