National Donut Day is June 6 – where to get deals around Colorado

Jun 3, 2025, 5:17 PM | Updated: Jun 4, 2025, 3:09 pm

Donuts are so good that they get two national days a year. There’s one in November each year, but the first National Donut Day falls on the first Friday of June every year. That happens to be June 6.

To celebrate, a number of local shops and national chains are serving up sweet deals and discounts on Friday:

Duck Donuts

Duck Donuts has a deal on Friday for a free cinnamon sugar donut with no purchase necessary. The offer is only available in stores. You can also enjoy a one-day-only offer of a half dozen cinnamon sugar doughnuts for just $6, available in-store and online.

Dunkin’

Along with offering a free donut with any beverage purchase for the 15th year in a row, Dunkin’ is teaming up with luxury lifestyle and accessories brand Stoney Clover Lane to debut a limited-edition collaboration inspired by the ultimate duo—coffee and donuts—shoppable on donut’s biggest day.

Krispy Kreme

Anyone can grab any one doughnut for free, no purchase necessary on Friday. The chain is also offering guests a dozen Original Glazed Doughnuts for just $2, with the purchase of any dozen at regular price.

7-Eleven

On June 6, 7Rewards and Speedy Rewards members can grab a classic glazed doughnut for just 50 cents at participating 7-ElevenSpeedway and Stripes locations. And if you miss the National Doughnut Day deal, all is not lost: Those same glazed doughnuts are available for $1 until June 24.

LaMar’s

LaMar’s Donuts and & Coffee is offering a free Original Glazed donut with no purchase necessary.

Shipley Do-Nuts

Shipley Do-Nuts celebrating National Doughnut Day with a month of “freebie Fridays,” beginning on June 6, when you can get a free glazed doughnut with any purchase (while supplies last). On Friday, June 13, you can get an extra doughnut free with any dozen — for a “lucky 13” spin on Friday the 13th — or a free glazed doughnut with any purchase. On Friday, June 20, you can get a classic Shipley glazed with any purchase. And on Friday, June 27, you can get a free fan-favorite glazed doughnut with any purchase. To snag the free doughnuts, visit your local Shipley shop or order online at shipleydonuts.com or through the loyalty app with code DonutMonth25.

Voodoo Doughnut

The chain is inviting customers to celebrate National Doughnut Day by pre-ordering Pink Raised Glazed Dozen (“12 light and fluffy raised rings handcrafted with pink dough and covered in our classic, craveable glaze”) for only $10. And on Friday, June 6, customers can get a free doughnut of choice with the purchase of a $10 Pink Raised Glazed Dozen — in store only at participating locations.

Maverik and Kum & Go

Maverik and Kum & Go rewards members can look forward to 50 percent off donuts in celebration of National Donut Day. No limit on number of donuts. Maverik Nitro cardholders can enjoy a free donut on June 6.
